The Wildflower Quilt Guild was formed in 1991 by a small group of quilters. Today, the Guild has over 120 members from the Central Texas area.
The Wildflower Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of quilting and providing an opportunity for sharing ideas and learning new techniques.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at the Cultural Activities Center (C.A.C.), 3011 North Third Street, Temple, Texas. Members start to gather at 6:30 p.m. for a social time (FOOD) and a short business meeting starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. The business meeting is then followed by "show and tell" and the special program for the evening. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings as guests.
Membership is open to anyone interested in quilts or quilting. Annual dues of $25.00 are collected at the January meeting. Dues are pro-rated for new members who join after July 1st. Members may attend the monthly meetings, serve on committees, participate in the "Quilter Pal" program, door prize drawing, Charm Square Swap, Block-of-the-Month drawing, Birthday Fabric drawing, and annual Quilt Challenge.
